Cats and Dogs is a talking-animal action comedy. This is a surprisingly witty and sophisticated spy movie spoof that will tickle adult pet lovers. It is quite an amusing story that fantasies kids and keeps them captured for the whole movie. Unknown to humans, a secret war between cats and dogs has been raging. But only a fragile truce is holding peace in the animal kingdom keeping everything in place. A unique research by Professor Brody topples everything in the kingdom. The professor is about to invent a vaccine that will erase all human allergies to dogs. This scientist tries to create a serum to cure dog allergies in humans. As the unsuspecting humans go through their busy lives, the cats make several attempts to possess the formula, as their canine foes try tirelessly to stop them. In the struggle to possess the formula by cats and the struggle to protect it by the dogs, story begins. It starts with the kidnapping of the professor son, Scott’s pet dog named Buddy. Buddy is kidnapped by cats which the dogs come to know about and tries to accomplish their mission and defeat the cat menace.
Caught in this crossfire, is a young beagle named Lou, adopted by the Brody family at a farm. Lou is misunderstood as the new agent by the other dogs and he tries hard to succeed as a secret agent. Not only has he tried to become a successful agent but also a friend to the young Scott Brody. Meanwhile, a evil snow white Persian cat named Mr. Tinkles plans to conquer the world by making all humans allergic to dogs. In this effort, he is planning to sabotage the efforts of Professor Brody to discover a cure for human allergies to dogs. He wants to make every person on Earth allergic to dogs so that he can take over the world with his army of evil cats. This evil rogue cat is constantly on the mission to fail the professor’s research. Mr. Tinkles plots to foil the development of an injection that would cure allergies to dogs. He tries to get the formula, reverse its effects, and expose every human in the world to it, then ‘everyone would become allergic to dogs, and cats could take over. And, the dogs attempt to break cats’ mission and protect the professor’s family. The storyline relates to ancient days, where in Egypt cats ruled and controlled the world. But with the help of dogs, humans took over, and since then cats have been trying to regain their position ever since.
